Young at Heart

Secret to Staying Young: Live Honestly, Eat Slowly, and LIE about your age (courtesy of Lucille Ball). So far, that has pretty much worked for me. However, occasionally, the body tells its true age. Although it may not be the years, just the mileage!

All that being said, I have to have shoulder surgery at the end of the month. Not really happy about it. But I'm tired. Tired because I am waking up in pain several times per night. Tired of the pain. Tired of not being able to move my shoulder at times. By the way, getting old = stinks!

On My Own

I had a rotten morning at Costco. I just hate when mechanics treat women like second class citizens. I got news for you buddy: I ain't dumb and I ain't blonde! Grr. So, I took Buddy to the pool to cool off (literally). And then after dinner, I attempted a dahlia. It is based on a picture. I was taking pictures with my phone, except for the last one. I got this far before I became ill. So I'm not sure it is done. It might be because I don't know what else to do to it...

Daylily!

Painting again! I didn't like it at first...but it is growing on me. Even my boo boos look planned from a distance. The teacher once told me paintings always look better from a distance. I asked her how about Cleveland? Ha ha!
