I am starting with the desk in an almond color...it is taking a lot of coats and there are lots of nooks and crannies. Yikes! And then spray painting the knobs a hammered copper color. Then I plan to "antique it" with some darker paint.

Desk: Before and In Progress
The bedroom set from my grandmother is in bad shape...and has been for a long awhile. The desk, dresser and chest have significant water damage on the top. Don't get too upset, it is veneered and not the greatest wood. So I'm finally getting around to painting it.
