Tribute to Moms

I'd like to give a shout out to the special needs mothers at Miracle League and others like them! To all of the moms that didn't listen to the medical profession, who told them to put their child in an institution and walk away. Never looking back, these moms wouldn't take "not possible" for an answer. They fought every step of the way, not caring if their belief was unpopular. The world just doesn't not understand what it take to raise a special needs child. There are some things that you give up completely (like expectations). Other things that you put on hold (your life). Many are not unselfish enough to do it. But these moms do it everyday with a smile on their face and a joy in their heart. They endure the stares and the questions. They all deserve an award, even though they are humble enough not to want it. I believe one day they will all get a special crown.
