Next stop: Sacramento, California. It was in full spring bloom. We were going to stop at Sutter’s Fort but it was not open. We still got to walk around the 1846 fort with walls 2-1/2 feet thick and about 15 feet high. The prettiest part was the Camellia trees outside.
